How do I apply for a marriage license?
To obtain a Pennsylvania marriage license, both applicants must appear at the county court together in person. Applicants must bring a valid photo ID and should arrive no later than 4 p.m. Applicants must know their social security number, parents' birth places and mother's maiden name. They must also bring a copy of their divorce degree or spouse's death certificate if applicable. The fee to apply for a marriage license is $35.00 and is due at the time of application.
